I use mostly soft maple or cherry woodblocks for my work, however I will dip into linoleum from time to time. Most of my inspiration comes from European Medieval emblems and marginalia, Tarot cards, and nature.
Any reproductions are taken from public domain images. I do not use AI software (ie, Midjourney or similar) at any point in my process.
