Weeks 7 & 8

Cats and medieval creatures were the themes of the last 2 weeks. I was obsessed with a picture of a cat wrapped in a curtain so much that I ended up sketching it out 3 times.

I am super excited about the 2 medieval creatures I came upon. Once I finish my current woodcut, I’m going to do a small multi-layer lino print of one or both of them.

I’ve been busier than usual, so I’ve had less time to focus on more involved sketches. That might be the same for the next couple weeks as I finish up carving my woodblock for an upcoming show in April.

More musings likely next week as I get some time back on my calendar, but for now this is all I can muster.
